Anantnag Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles conducted a 07 days cutting and tailoring course for the poor students which concluded today at kapran, a remote village of Anantnag district. The trainees who participated in the 07 days course were provided free sewing machines and certificates after completion of course.

13 girl students participated in the event and 10 girls were provided free Sewing machines.

Later on, company commander, Major Mutappa, was highly praised for the event by the participants and the locals, where poor women can now earn and work, independently. He also said organising such events makes bond between the jawans and the awam stronger.(CNI) Current News of India
