13 Bn SSB Dignibal has been conducting various event/programme for the upliftement of local populace in addition to the performance of its primary duty of internal security. In the series of organizing such programmes, 13 Bn SSB Dignibal has organised:-
- Community Welfare Programme.
- Pre-Recruitment Awareness Programme.
- MCA & VCA Programme under Civic Action Programme.
on 28/10/2023 at Bakura village which was witnessed by Sh H.B.K Singh, DIG SSB SHQ Srinagar as Chief Guest & Sh Rohitasva, Commandant 10Th Bn and Abdul Majid War, Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Bakura, Mr. Muddasir Ahmad Wani, Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Warpoh and Mr. Bilal Ahmad, Panch, Dignibal, Soukat Ahmad, Head Master, Boys middle school Bakura, Mrs Neelofar, Head Mistress, Boys Middle School Warpoh along with large number of villagers from Bakura, Warpoh and, Dignibal were present throughout the programme.
During the said event Sh. Virender Singh Choudhary, Dy. The commandant delivered welcome address in which he welcomed all and gave a brief note on the events been organised by 13 Bn SSB Dignibal on the occasion on 28/10/2023.
The programme was followed by presentation of cultural programme by the students of boy middle schools Bakura and Warpoh during which ukas Haroon, Hanan & Zainab and Muntasha & Shahida and Kulsuma and Ashazia have presented their singing and dancing skills.
Further, two Computer, one each was distributed to Boys Middle Schools Bakura and Warpoh respectively by the Chief Guest under Community Welfare Programme.
Besides this, a Pre Recruitment awareness programme was also organised by 13 Bn SSB Dignibal during which local youth were briefed about the process being followed for recruitment in various central armed police forces to encourage them for participation in such recruitment drives.
In addition to this, Medical & Veterinary Civic Action programme were also organized under the supervision of Dr. Gourav Misra, Comd (Med.) along with Harshit Luthara, AC (MO) and Dr.(very) Riyaz Ahmad from shuhama vety college during which large no of citizens and livestock from dignibal, shuhama, warpoh and bakura were treated.
Sh H.B.K Singh, DIG SSB chief guest of event while addressing the villagers and SSB personnel has appreciated the efforts of 13 Bn SSB for organising the said programme with the spirit of Service, Security and Brotherhood with participation of local populace. he further has stated that the computer distributed to the schools would not only be beneficial for the enhancement of knowledge of the student but also will surely update their technology related competence. Further he has reiterated that 13 Bn SSB remains committed in its aptitude to making a difference in the lives of the local people. Finally, the programme was culminated with vote of thanks by Sh. Som Nath, Commanding Officer of 13 Bn SSB. He thanked each and every one who were available during the programme and thanked the Chief Guest Sh H.B.K Singh, DIG SSB specifically for sparing his valuable time and assured everyone, that 13 Bn SSB will keep on serve the people with the spirit of “Service, Security and Brotherhood” with participation of local people.
