INDIAN ARMY CONDUCTS EXPEDITION TO SARI PASS IN BAROT VALLEY

50 years of raising, a team from Fiery Fifteen Battalion of Indian Army’s Tiger Division conducted Trekking Expedition to Sari Pass in Barot Valley, Himachal Pradesh to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of sacrifices made by the gallant soldiers of Indian Army during Indo-Pak War of 1965. A team of 15 brave soldiers from the Tiger Division completed a commemorative expedition of 108 kms. The expedition was flagged off from the revered TIGER WAR MEMORIAL by GOC Tiger Division on 14 June 2025 after paying homage to the unwavering spirit of the soldiers who made supreme sacrifice while protecting the nation in victory of India over Pakistan in the 1965 War.
As the nation looks up to the 60th Anniversary of Operation RIDDLE (Indo-Pak War 1965), this expedition stands as a poignant reminder of the valour, patriotism and selfless service that epitomises the sacrifices of Indian Armed Forces.
