Sher-i-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah,chose chains over compromise, refusing to bow to Delhi’s pressure to dilute Article 370.

This undemocratic act not only violated the trust of the people but also marked the beginning of the gradual and systematic erosion of Article 370 and setting into motion decades of political turmoil, erosion of autonomy and unimaginable loss of lives.

What happened was not merely a political conspiracy,it was an open assault on democracy, federalism and the unique identity of Jammu & Kashmir.
