19 Rashtriya Rifles The Army has conducted a 7 days basic Cutting and Tailoring course for women belonging to financially weaker background and people of far flung areas. The event has been inaugurated today where the participants have been given free sewing machines.

The event was inaugurated by 19 RR Kapran Army Camp Company Commander Major Muthappa MS.
The participants have expressed their gratitude to Indian Army for organising such skill development event and are taking part in it will full zeel and enthusiasm.

Skill development events of this kind gives a sense of financial independence to women of far flung areas and poor financial background.(CNI) Current News of India
