Ganderbal: As part of Public outreach programme, Thana Diwas; an initiative of Government of J&K, was observed today by Ganderbal Police in all Police Establishments of the District.

According to the News Agency Current News of India (CNI) that on the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, the event was chaired by the Police officers, under the supervision of SDPO Kangan Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS and DySP Headquarters Ganderbal Shri Gh Hassan-JKPS in their respective subdivisions. The meeting was attended by DDCs, BDCs, Sarpanchs, Panchs and General Public. Besides all SHOs of concerned Police Station’s, other officers and officials were also present on the said occasion.

In the event, large gathering of public participated and highlighted various issues of public importance, and they were assured that their genuine grievances pertaining to Police will be resolved on priority and that of civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their.
