KISHTWAR// December 18, 2023 Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Sr. Leader Ajeet Bhagat said that Rural Development Department (RDD) Kishtwar, Doda and Ramban Districts of Chenab Valley Zone is mal paractices galore on the name of commission.

Bhagat said that many BDOs, JEs, VLWs, Accountants and GRSs are involved in mal paractices in the form of Commission from MGNREGA Job Card Holders and has fixed percentage of Commission against MGNREGA Material payments, Skilled, PMAY houses, IHHL, and other Central Sponsored Scheme.

The National Confrance leader said that department is favouring those who are rich and have double storey houses where ignoring deserving BPL Job Card Holders for not giving them fixed percentage of Commission.

Ajeet Bhagat appealed to Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, Commissioner Secretary Rural Development Department Jammu and Kashmir and Director General of Police Jammu and Kashmir to consititute a team to investigate the matter and book the accused under relevant sections of law.CNI
