Srinagar: 31th January 2024, BJP party announced it’s candidates for Lok Saba elections. The party is likely to adopt a similar strategy for the Lok Saba polls and candidates for such seats could be preactive in plans and actions for winning this elections on a big margin.
As per reliable sources, BJP has already decided to field candidates for Sinagar – Budgam, Baramulla- Kupwara and Anantnag-Rajuri Parliamentary constituencies & will carry out a massive exercise to strengthen it’s position by deploying prominent faces for lok saba elections.
In this announcement, a legend face Er Syed Showkat Gayoor Andrabi , a well known social & political activist has been identified as a strong candidate for Srinagar-Budgam Parliamentary Constituency where the party hopes an early announcement of Er Gayoor which would give them the first-mover advantage. It is worthwhile to mention here that Er Gayoor is son of a multifaceted personality Saut-i-Kashmir Syed Ghulam Rasool Gayoor, a prominent scholar & social & Political reformer from Ratnipora Pulwama , who was brutally assassinated by unknown gunmen. However, some other legends of politics like Ravindra Raina, the BJP president for Jammu & Kashmir has been identified for Anantnag- Rajuri Parliamentary constituency & as per the inner sources that one more prominent face, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi , the Chairperson of J&K Wakfboard has been identified for Baramulla – Kupwara Parliamentary Constituency as the candidate for Lok saba,
the sources said.

We have gathered here in kashmir and laid strong foundation in early election and after a gap of 5 years the BJP will begin from where they have left in last election. This election is significant for the jammu and kashmir.We have met all stakeholders, including political parties and enforcement agencies, while preparing for Lok Saba elections assembly elections said by an insider.
It has also added that special emphasis on making electoral rolls inclusive and the focus will also be on “roll-to-poll” to ensure that all voters come to vote.
