Chairs Monthly JJM Review Meeting, authorisation for Water supply scheme in Hewodur & Watmagam given

Budgam : The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today chaired a meeting on Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM)
At the outset, the DC gave authorization to 2 works pertaining to Mechanical department which includes WSS Hewudur and WSS Paripora Watmagam.
He also reviewed the department’s efforts in getting Budgam town covered under Rs. 442.41 lac Water Supply Scheme under AMRUT 2.0 in a short span of time.
He also reviewed the status of under construction Water schemes, DPRs, tendering, work allotments of all JJM works.
He stressed on speedy work completion on all ongoing JJM projects to ensure adequate potable drinking water supply in all affected areas of the district.
The DC also took the detailed review of allotments for construction of filtration, plants OHTs reservoirs and laying of pipelines and other related works.
The meeting among others was attended by ADDC, Khurshid Ahmad Shah, SE Hydraulics, CPO, ACD, DFO, Executive Engineers PHEs and other concerned.(CNI) Current News of India
