Jammu : As social media report, one Kashmiri Muslim namely Ashraf Najar comments on the Facebook post of one Dhamma Joti, that what happened with Kashmiri Pandits and their property in valley during turmoil in Kashmir.

This should be completely an eye opener for those who are asking KP,s to return to valley and live with those looters.

This post should be eye open for those government egencies and our community activists and others who claim themselves leaders of the victim community but asking displaced KP,s to make and transfer their vote to valley and finally vote these Muslim candidates who were part of your devastation in valley

. It is very shameful and cheating with himself and cheating with democracy of India, as you are actually living in Delhi ,Jummu & other parts of the country, but to vote in valley constituencies in your absence not to benifit yourself but others.whether they are selfish political parties or some individuals.

Please ponder ,is it really in the interest of the victim community?.

“✍️After forced exodus of KPs in 90s, I happen to be an unfortunate witness to plans, tricks, deceptions and procedures most of KMs adopted to grab the properties of KPs by hook or by crook… .the deals they struck were nothing but a formality… those who could not grab one, started looting the interiors… even to the extend of stealing electric bulbs and washroom faucets…. Trees planted in KP land were brought down and deposited to Baitul Maal of the community and justifications were derived from revelation by local maulvis under Islamic concept of Maal-e-Ganeemat… (Spoils of War) since it was a Jihaad against Kafir and all looters were actually Mujahid and even if anyone died of falling down from a window of a KP house or electrocuted while looting a live wire was an.. Automatic Shaheed.. whose all sins would be forgiven by his Allah besides offering him 72 virgins in heaven INSTANTANEOUSLY.’

I remember one of the techniques prevalent in our area to grab a KP property in those days was that there was this so called “Mujahid” who used to burn KP houses after looting them of every possible saleable asset. He was nick named “Naar-e-Maukal” (Angel of Fire).. He turned every KP house to mire and thereafter even the owner KP would feel that his property has lost all its worth..there are some famous KMs shopkeeper who had shops within KP house premises, they used to invite this “Naar-e-Maukal” to burn down the KP house and thereafter they would visit Jammu or Delhi to strike a deal with desperate KP owner and construct new concrete property in his own name and re-establish their business.. After grabbing the properties same guys were seen running 5 times a day towards the mosque with every call of Azaan with their Shalwaar hanging above their ankles to look as a Muazaz Shahri… and irony is that we are such a shameless lot, we even do not bother to acknowledge the atrocities and deceptions we have committed with our own hands … how can we ever succeed in what we aspire in our lives.. we can never.. we are hypocrites….and as I feel.. the problem is that not only have we all witnessed this but most of us have been benefited from KP exodus, directly or indirectly.. be it by “grabbing” their properties directly or purchasing it from a grabber for peanuts.. so how can one expect us to utter or accept the truth.. we certainly are shameless but how much????

I may not be knowing the concept of Ghar Devta in its broader terms, but to me I may relate to effect of suppressed guilt venting through the dead conscience of these dacoits.CNI
