Srinagar, CNI: Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Wakf Board, Dr. Sayeda Darakshan Andrabi, visited the Dastgeer Sahib Shrine in Srinagar’s Khanyar area this evening to review the arrangements ahead of the annual Urs, which is scheduled for tomorrow. During her visit, she assessed the arrangements made for the convenience of devotees, ensuring that all necessary facilities were in place for the smooth conduct of the event. Her inspection focused on making the visit to the shrine comfortable and organized for all attendees.

Talking to media persons, Dr. Andrabi, said, “We have seen that there are all kinds of arrangements for the devotees, and there will be no shortcomings. The devotees will not face any problems. The administration has ensured that all facilities, such as water and electricity, are available, and the devotees will not face any difficulties.”

She further added, “We took the step that shoes should not be taken inside the shrine because new flooring has been installed, and since prayers are offered in the mosque and shrines, they should remain clean. We request our people to come with cleanliness and purity and to leave blessed by Allah’s grace.” CNI
