Srinagar, Oct 15 Today, a meeting of Congress senior leaders / PCC office bearers was held in Jammu and Kashmir, chaired by Ghulam Nabi Monga. An appeal was made to the All India Congress about why we lost the elections, even though we were leading in 20 seats in Jammu during the parliamentary elections.
All india Congress party leader in a statement to News Agency CNI said that in this meeting, former minister Lata Wakhloo, along with state vice presidents, district presidents, general secretaries, and secretaries, called for an investigation into the ground realities that led to our election loss, especially considering the favorable environment created by the Bharat Jodo Yatra. They questioned whether the defeat was due to a lack of state leadership.
They proposed forming a fact-finding team to investigate the reasons for the electoral loss, similar to the one established in Haryana.
