SSP Rural Traffic Kashmir RP Singh Conducts Special Drive in Pampore to Curb Violations, Raises Awareness Among Drivers

Pampore : A special enforcement drive was conducted by the Rural Traffic Kashmir department, led by SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir, Ravinder Pal Singh, in Pampore, Pulwama district, aimed at addressing various traffic violations under the Motor Vehicles (MV) Act. The focus of the drive was to curb overloading and the use of pressure horns, both of which have contributed significantly to noise pollution and public inconvenience in the area.

 

During the drive, numerous challans were issued to violators for breaking traffic rules, particularly for overloading and the improper use of pressure horns. The authorities were strict in enforcing the MV Act, ensuring that violators were held accountable.

 

In addition to issuing challans, an on-the-spot awareness program was conducted to educate drivers about the importance of following traffic regulations. SSP RP Singh emphasized the critical role of adhering to MV rules in ensuring public safety. Drivers were urged to avoid violations and to contribute to a safer and more organized road environment.

 

The authorities stressed the need for drivers’ cooperation in following traffic laws, noting that this is vital for the effective management of traffic and ensuring smooth travel on the roads.

 

The Rural Traffic Kashmir department has assured that similar enforcement drives will continue in the future to maintain order and minimize traffic violations in the valley.
