Janta Dal United (JDU) Party President G.M. Shaheen met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Jammu today, accompanied by senior party leaders Mr. Amit Kapoor and Farooq Ahmad.

During the meeting, Shaheen expressed his gratitude to the LG for his support in the development of the Tapper Babareshi Road. He also discussed the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir, highlighting key issues faced by the people.

Shaheen urged the LG to ensure 24-hour electricity supply across the region and the effective implementation of central government schemes to benefit the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Additionally, he appealed for employment opportunities for youth in police and other security departments, emphasizing the need for job creation in the region.

In response, LG Manoj Sinha assured Shaheen that the government will take necessary steps in all respects. He also assured that several development initiatives will be introduced in the near future to improve infrastructure and public services.

Shaheen thanked the LG for his continued support and commitment toward the development of Jammu and Kashmir.
