The Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council successfully conducted the screening of J&K Boys and Girls Kabaddi Teams for the upcoming 34th Sub-Junior National Championship scheduled to be held in Gaya, Bihar, from March 27 to March 30, 2025.

The screening event took place at Subash Indoor Stadium, Udhampur, under the supervision of notable dignitaries, including Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association, and Vikas Dogra, Incharge Manager of Subash Indoor Stadium.

The occasion was also graced by the presence of Tanvir Sheikh, President of Udhampur Kabaddi Association; Surinder Mohan Gupta, Observer from Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association, Jammu; Ashok Kumar Sharma, Chairman of Udhampur Kabaddi Association; along with experienced coaches Ram Kumar, Anita Devi, Sunita Devi, Pratyaksh Bhogia and Mir Alam.
The selected teams will represent Jammu and Kashmir at the national level, and the screening aimed to ensure that the best talent has been selected during the UT Kabaddi championship by the selection committee which was constituted by the Jammu and Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association Jammu
