Chairman Karwani Islami International Allama Shaykh Dr. Ghulam Rasool Hami, who is presently on the sacred journey of Umrah in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah, has expressed deep sorrow and heartfelt condolences over the tragic road accident at Handwara involving students of Degree College Sogam during an excursion trip.

In this unfortunate incident, two young female students lost their lives, while several others sustained injuries. Reacting to the heartbreaking news, Allama Hami conveyed his profound grief and solidarity with the bereaved families.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of these precious young lives. This is a painful moment not only for the affected families but for the entire community. May Almighty Allah grant the departed souls highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, bestow patience and strength upon their families, and grant complete recovery to the injured,” Allama Hami stated from Makkah.

He further prayed for the safety and well-being of all students and urged authorities to ensure better safety measures for such educational tours in the future.

“In these sacred lands, I raise my hands in dua for the departed souls and their families. May Allah protect our children and our nation from all such tribulations,” he added. CNI
