Gaurav Gupta Vows to Uphold Club’s Legacy, Ensure Continued Growth & Excellence Jammu Club came alive with vibrant colours, joyous music, and traditional spirit as it celebrated the festival of Baisakhi with grandeur and enthusiasm within its beautifully adorned premises.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Club members and their families, making it a truly memorable evening of cultural richness and celebration.Ramesh Kumar, IAS, Divisional Commissioner Jammu and Vice President of the Club, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Extending his warm Baisakhi greetings to all present, he appreciated the tireless efforts of the Club Secretary and the Managing Committee for organizing such a magnificent and culturally immersive celebration.To mark the occasion, the Club was transformed into a vibrant Punjabi Village, with stunning thematic décor that transported guests to the heart of Punjab.

The beats of the dhol, rustic decorations, and traditional flair filled the air with festive excitement. Selfie points set up across the venue added to the joyous ambiance, allowing members to capture beautiful memories with their loved ones.The cultural program was a visual delight. A lively dance performance by Shaniya, a talented artist from Jammu, infused the atmosphere with energy and enthusiasm.

The Cultural Academy troupe enthralled the audience with a powerful Bhangra performance, followed by melodious Dogri songs that resonated with the spirit of the region.A special note of appreciation was extended to the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages for their contribution in facilitating the participation of talented artists significantly enriched the cultural vibrance of the evening.

The evening was brilliantly anchored by Rajni, whose engaging style, vibrant energy, and interactive games added a whole new dimension to the celebration.Keeping children in mind, the event featured a variety of fun-filled activities including camel and horse rides, games, and entertainment zones.

The evening was complemented with the delightful taste of traditional Dogri and Punjabi cuisine, making it a complete cultural experience.Secretary Gaurav Gupta, in his address, extended warm Baisakhi greetings to all members and expressed heartfelt joy on celebrating the Foundation Day of Jammu Club, which was established on 13th April

1978.He remarked, “Today is not only a festival but a historic day for all of us. On behalf of the entire Managing Committee, I pay humble tributes to all the Patrons, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Hony. Secretaries, and Managing Committee members who have contributed to the Club’s journey over the decades.

We walk in their footsteps today, committed to carrying forward their vision and legacy with pride.”During the vote of thanks, Gaurav Gupta expressed deep gratitude to the Divisional Commissioner and all esteemed guests for their gracious presence.
