The Regional News Unit (CNI) Jammu of Akashvani today observed Earth Day with full enthusiasm and dedication for the mother earth.On this occasion, all staff members, including CNI Head N. Gulshan Raina ( IIS) came to office wearing different shades of blue colour relating it with the blue planet, the other name of our mother earth. symbolizing their commitment to environmental awareness and the mother earth. A special pledge was administered by the cni to the team to protect and preserve Mother Earth, save water, prefer using renewable sources of energy. In a thoughtful gesture, CNI Head N. Gulshan Raina distributed saplings among the staff members, encouraging them to plant these at their homes and take care as it would keep reminding them of their commitment towards earth. This is aimed to promote green living, raise awareness about environmental conservation, and inspire sustainable practices within the community. Gulshan Raina said is strongly committed to combat climate change and preserve nature for future generations. (CNI)
