Budgam, (CNI) – The District Budgam Volleyball Adhoc Committee, in collaboration with Kashmir Elite Volleyball Club Budgam, organized a one-day District Budgam Valley Games Volleyball Tournament at Charishareef. The event witnessed the participation of eight local teams, with Hayatpora Volleyball Club emerging victorious by defeating their opponent 2-0 in the final.

SHO Mudasir Ahmad and the Chairman of the District Budgam Volleyball Adhoc Committee graced the occasion as Chief Guests. They praised the organizers for their efforts to promote sports among youth and steer them away from drug abuse.

This tournament marked the first of four planned events across the district, aimed at widespread engagement. Winners, runners-up, and participants were awarded trophies, medals, and cash prizes, with the community highly appreciating the initiative.(CNI)
