Poonch /Jammu-(CNI):- Union Home Minister Amit Shah, addressing a public gathering in Poonch, asserted that the Indian Armed Forces delivered a powerful response to Pakistan following attacks on Indian civilians.
“When Pakistan attacked our civilians, the Indian Armed Forces gave a befitting reply, and destroyed nine of their airbases,” Shah stated. “It was due to this decisive action that Pakistan later came forward with a ceasefire proposal.”
The Home Minister’s comments come amidst rising tensions along the Line of Control (LoC), with recent reports of cross-border shelling and civilian casualties.
Shah praised the Indian Armed Forces for their swift and strong retaliation, crediting their efforts for maintaining national security and forcing diplomatic overtures from the neighboring country.
He also emphasized the government’s commitment to the safety and sovereignty of the nation, assuring the people of Jammu & Kashmir that any threat from across the border would be dealt with firmly.(CNI)
