Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC), under the leadership of its President , Kundan Kashmiri,in meeting at Delhi today stated and reaffirms its unwavering commitment towards justice, rightful rehabilitation, and one-place settlement at the sacred land of Kashyap Bhoomi, where the displaced Kashmiri Pandit community can live together in safety, dignity, and in preservation of its ancient culture, religion, and ethos.

In a statement issued today, KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri expressed concern over some recent activities and public actions by individuals and groups who, without community mandate or recognition, are attempting to speak on behalf of the displaced KP community. While KPC respects every citizen’s freedom of expression, such unilateral initiatives, especially when theatrical or media-driven pose a serious risk of distorting the collective narrative of the exiled community’s painful journey and its dignified aspirations.

Prominent KP community leader, Kundan Kashmiri further reminded that the ongoing struggle of displaced Kashmiri Pandits is not for symbolic acts or emotional optics, but for a permanent, secure, and constitutionally guaranteed one-place settlement in the valley of Kashmir, at Kashyap Bhoomi, where the entire community can live together safe, sound, and united.

He said that return to Kashmir is not a political stunt or a one-day event, but a constitutional right that must come with legal guarantees, protection of life and property, restoration of land, institutional safeguards, and justice for the crimes committed during the mass exodus and massacres like Wandhama, Nadimarg, Sangrampora, and others.

Kundan Kashmiri also reminded about the sacrifices and contribution to the towering icons and martyrs of the community, including Community father Late Amar Nath Vaishnavi Ji, Late Hira Lal Chatta Ji, and many others who led the community with truth, sacrifice, and moral integrity. He honored the sacred memory of brave martyrs like Shaheed Girija Tickoo Ji, Sarla Bhat Ji, Tika Lal Taploo Ji, Justice Neelkanth Ganjoo Ji, Prem Nath Bhat Ji, Dr. Raj Nath Ji, Moti Lal Bhan Ji, T.K. Razdan Ji, P.N. Premi Ji and countless others, whose sacrifices must never be trivialized or misused for short-term attention.

KPC President appealed to every Kashmiri Pandit family to remain alert, mature, and united, and not allow themselves to be misled or divided on the basis of sub-castes, locality, or false promises. “Any attempt to break our unity by using emotional sentiments or playing political games must be firmly rejected,” he said.

He added that our strength lies in our unity, our history, and our resolve. The idea of returning to the Kashmir Valley is meaningful only if we return together as one community—in one place, with our temples, traditions, and brotherhood intact. “Only then can we preserve our identity and pass it on to future generations with pride and security,” he said.

Calling for wisdom and respect in community interactions, KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri urged everyone to avoid personal attacks or factionalism. He said that “each Kashmiri Pandit is a son or daughter of Kashyap Rishi, and we must treat each other accordingly—with respect, compassion, and solidarity.”

At the conclusion, he appealed to every Kashmiri Pandit, whether living in Jammu, Delhi, or abroad to stay united, stay vigilant, and move forward with focus. Do not fall into the trap of flashy gimmicks or self-styled narratives, but work with
discipline for the long-term welfare of the KP community and for the greater unity of the Indian nation.
Let us walk the path of our ancestors—with truth, discipline, unity, and clarity of purpose.
Other KPC Leaders and activists spoke on the same lines.
