New Delhi, (cni) : In a major move aimed at easing travel for private vehicle owners, Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has announced the launch of a FASTag-based Annual Pass priced at ₹3,000.

Effective from 15th August 2025, the pass will be available to owners of cars, jeeps, and vans, offering either 1 year of validity or up to 200 toll trips—whichever is exhausted first.

The initiative is expected to streamline toll payments and encourage hassle-free travel across the national highway network| (cni)
