Kokarnag /Anantnag, -CNI:-In a significant step aimed at improving tourist infrastructure and local facilities, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kokernag Development Authority (KDA), Mohd Rouf Rahman (cni), conducted a surprise early morning visit to Municipality Office Achabal Town today.
During the visit, the CEO inspected the land proposed for the new bus stand and held a meeting with the Municipal Committee Achabal (MCAchabal) staff. He urged the officials to work with dedication, maintain cleanliness in both the Achabal market and garden, and ensure the town remains attractive for tourists, locals, and pilgrims alike.
Emphasizing the importance of Achabal as a gateway to the Kokernag tourism circuit, the CEO stated that cleanliness, preparedness, and hospitality are key to boosting the tourism sector in the area.
Later, the CEO visited Chhattapal Achabal to inspect the KDA Huts and interacted with employees working in the Achabal–Chatapal sector. The visit aimed to motivate the staff and review their readiness to accommodate an expected rise in tourist footfall during the upcoming season.
The visit was warmly received by both the local residents and KDA staff, who appreciated the proactive and encouraging approach of the CEO.(CNI)
