Work on the New District Hospital and Critical Care Unit is proceeding at an accelerated pace on the ground :DC Budgam.

Budgam: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat (IAS Thursday conducted an extensive visit to the under-construction 125-bedded state of art District Hospital and the 100-bedded Critical Care Unit, both located in the Reshipora area of Budgam.
During the site inspection, the DC emphasised the importance of expediting the ongoing construction work to ensure the timely completion of these crucial healthcare projects.
He highlighted that these facilities will significantly enhance the district’s healthcare infrastructure and provide advanced medical services to the residents.
On the occasion, the DC said that the rapid pace of development and the quality of work at both facilities are highly encouraging. The commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure was reaffirmed, with emphasis on the pivotal role these projects are expected to play in delivering advanced medical services to the community. The efforts and dedication of all involved were acknowledged as commendable, and it was expressed with confidence that these institutions are poised to set new benchmarks in patient care and emergency services.
He further said ,The projects are progressing on schedule and are expected to significantly enhance healthcare delivery in the region by offering advanced patient care and critical services.
The District Administration along with department of R&B and department of health is working in a focused manner to ensure that both these key projects of the district are completed at the earliest, paving the way for their dedication to the public ahead of its scheduled timeline”, he added.
The completion of the hospital and critical care unit will play a pivotal role in addressing healthcare needs in Budgam, particularly in providing specialized care and critical medical facilities to patients within the district , the DC added .
He said that regular and consisitent monitoring of the projects is being conducted to ensure that any teething issues, if any, are addressed real time with Multi departmental coordination to achieve before schedule completion & seamless progress.
Besides, ADC Budgam, SE R&B circle Budgam, CPO Budgam, CMO Budgam, MS DH Budgam, Executive Engineers R&B, AEEs ,and representatives of executing agencies accompanied DC Budgam.
