Ganderbal: In a major development for the people of Kangan, MLA Mian Mehar Ali has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Principal Secretary PDD, MD JKSPDCL, Chief Engineer PDD Kashmir, SE PDD Ganderbal, and Executive Engineer PDD Ganderbal for sanctioning a 6.3 MVA transformer for the Wangath Receiving Station.

MLA Mian Mehar Ali called the move a crucial step towards resolving long-pending power issues in the region. “This transformer will enhance electricity supply, especially during peak load hours. Further developments are already in the pipeline, including another transformer for Kangan,” he stated.

According to field reports gathered by CNI News, the MLA has been actively touring the constituency. In recent days, he visited Chountiwar, Waliwar, Watlar, and nearby villages, where he met residents, listened to their concerns, and assured swift redressal.

Local people who spoke to CNI News said Mian Mehar Ali has become a symbol of commitment and public service. From improving healthcare and road connectivity to upgrading education and electricity supply, his consistent efforts have made a visible difference.
