Baramulla CNI NEWS: The Bar Association Baramulla has extended solidarity to the Bar Association Sopore and joined its protest over the alleged misconduct and disrespectful

behaviour of Tehsildar Sopore Tariq Ahmad Sheikh towards practising advocates.The Bar Association Baramulla expressed its support for the Sopore legal fraternity, stressing that the dignity, respect and rights of lawyer must be protected.The development comes amid the ongoing protest by the Sopore Bar, which has been demanding appropriate administrative action against the Tehsildar.

The issue has also reached the court, which has issued a pre-cognisance notice to the Tehsildar and sought a factual report from the Deputy Commissioner, Baramulla.With Baramulla lawyers extending their support, the legal fraternity in the district has demonstrated unity over the issue, while calling upon the administration to address the concerns raised by the Sopore Bar and take appropriate action.
