Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat on Thursday visited a Joint Temporary Operating Base (TOB) located in the area of the Doda-Kathua-Udhampur trijunction.The DGP was accompanied by IG Jammu Zone, DIG DKR Range, DIG UR Range and SSP Doda during the visit.The Joint TOB is manned by personnel of the Special Operations Group (SOG), Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

During the visit, the senior officers reviewed the security arrangements and operational preparedness of the joint deployment in the area. They also assessed the functioning of the forces deployed at the strategically important location.The visit comes amid heightened focus on strengthening security and coordination among various security agencies in vulnerable areas.The joint deployment of SOG, RR and CRPF reflects the coordinated efforts of security forces to maintain operational readiness and ensure security in the region.
