Reasi, CNI NEWS An Apprenticeship Awareness Workshop was organized at MP Hall, Government General Zorawar Singh Memorial Degree College, Reasi, under the able Guidance and direction of Prof. Mamta Gupta, Principal of the College and supervision of Convener Prof. Anju Devi
The workshop aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of apprenticeship opportunities and the process of registration. The speakers highlighted how apprenticeship programmes can provide students with practical exposure, workplace experience and opportunities to develop skills relevant to their future careers.
Awareness lectures were delivered by Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Physical Director, Dr. Pooja Bhagat, Assistant Professor, Dr. Anish Gupta, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Rahil Dutta. The speakers explained the significance of timely registration and encouraged students to make use of available apprenticeship opportunities for enhancing their professional skills and employability.
Faculty members including Prof. Pooja Dheman, Prof. Malvika Kotwal, Prof. Renu Thakur, Dr. Anju Ara, and Dr. Umar Khandey were also present on the occasion and contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.
The speakers emphasized that apprenticeship provides students with an opportunity to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical experience. Students were encouraged to register on the appropriate apprenticeship platforms and actively explore opportunities suited to their educational qualifications and career interests.
