Commanding of the Counter-Insurgency Force Kilo.At present, he is serving as the Commandant of the Indian Military Training Team (IMTRAT) in Bhutan, a key Indian Army training establishment.An alumnus of the National Defence Academy (NDA) and the National Defence College (NDC), Lt Gen Seth was commissioned into the 3 Madras Regiment in 1991. He has also served as the Indian Army Liaison Officer at the High Commission of India in the United Kingdom.

The White Knight Corps has a critical operational mandate covering the region south of the Pir Panjal range, extending towards the Shivalik ranges and the plains of Jammu and Akhnoor. Its responsibilities include safeguarding the International Border and Line of Control (LoC) and conducting sustained counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency operations across Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch and the Doda region.
