An elderly man hanged himself to death at his home in Rajouri district on Monday.

A 72-year-old man from the Beji Lower Kewal tehsil of Kotranka hanged himself in his home using a wooden beam, according to various media reports. He died instantly, the source claimed.

The police have reportedly opened a case and initiated further investigation.
