Residents in the Soura district of the outskirts of Srinagar expressed gratitude to the government for taking prompt steps to address the noise pollution problem brought on by the generators at a shopping complex.
Authorities sealed the Azad Colony 90 Feet Soura shopping centre after receiving a report that two banks were using loud generators to create noise pollution.
“We extend our gratitude towards authorities for recognizing the importance of minimizing disturbances within our neighborhood. The incessant noise generated by these bank generators had been a matter of concern for residents,” the locals said adding that prompt action of authorities has significantly improved the overall atmosphere around their community and restored tranquility within their living environment. ”
