Ravinder Raina, the president of the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir, took a strong shot at the opposition parties for their demand for a protest on October 10. He claimed that they are planning conspiracies to prevent the development of Jammu and Kashmir.

BJP J&K President Ravinder Raina stated during a news conference in Jammu that the opposition parties, united under the Gupkar Gatbandhan (Alliance), felt stifled by the prosperous J&K and have been plotting against the UT for a very long time.

Raina blamed the opposition parties for organising a demonstration in Jammu on October 10 and claimed it was a clever scheme to dupe residents of the UT. “Where were they when the entire state of J&K was experiencing hardships, bloodshed, and uncertainty. “The NC, PDP, and Congress are actually feeling constrained and have begun to come up with plans against the evolving Jammu and Kashmir,” Raina added.

Why had NC, PDP, and Congress not organised similar protests when J&K was struggling, when there was bloodshed on the streets, and when people were experiencing hardships, Raina questioned, adding, “Now that J&K is moving in the direction of development and prosperity these political groups come up with a conspiracy to mislead the people by holding protest.”
