An official reported on Saturday that a traffic accident that occurred late on Friday night in the Jammu region claimed the lives of three people and injured five others.

When a car with the licence plate JK06A-8682, travelling from Khellani to Sarhoa Humble, got close to Sarhoa Humble, it slid down a steep hill and fell almost 300 feet from the road, according to reports.

He claimed there were eight occupants in the unfortunate vehicle, three of whom perished instantly, while five others were hurt.
The deceased have been named as Minay Kumar, a son of Daya Ram, Lal Chand, a son of Jamit Ram, and Karan Jeet Singh, a son of Shib Charan. All three were inhabitants of Sarhoa Humble.

Sanjay Kumar, son of Jamit Ram, Manjeet Singh, son of Pram Lal, Kushal, son of Kung, Mintu, son of Balak Ram, and Sunahir Lal, son of Chuni Lal are those that survived. They are all Shrwa Doda locals.

The injured people were sent right away to GMC Doda for care and medical attention.

In the meanwhile, a case has been filed in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, and additional investigation has begun.
