In his debutant meeting with the Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of the Police, and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) of Jammu Division, the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Jammu Zone, Anand Jain, reviewed the crime pattern of different districts and asked the senior police officers for better public relations in their respective districts.
He also emphasized adopting measures to deal drug menace stringently and directed the officers present in the meeting to infuse extraordinary efforts to put kingpins of drug smuggling behind bars.
He also directed the officers to remain alert and vigilant and adopt a foolproof security system to neutralize any terrorist activity in their area of responsibility.
