Three persons, including two females, who had gone missing were traced and reunited with their families by police in Kishtwar.

Kishtwar Police said that they received separate reports regarding missing persons at Police Station Kishtwar and Police Station Chatroo.

After receiving the reports, a police spokesperson said that SSP Kishtwar Khalil Poswal constituted two special teams, led by SHO Kishtwar Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday, under the supervision of Dy SP Hqrs Kishtwar Dr. Ishan Gupta, while the other team, led by Inspector Sandeep Parihar, SHO PS Chatroo, under the guidance of DySP DAR Kishtwar Sajjad Khan.

He further said that the dedicated teams laid raids at various suspected locations and leveraged the advanced technical assistance during their searches.

“After relentless efforts, all missing individuals were successfully located. Following the completion of all necessary legal formalities, the recovered individuals were reunited with their families,” added the police spokesperson.
