The inter Village volleyball tournament organized by the 34 Assam Rifles in Gund concludes, with Sonamarg team emerging as the champions. In continuation with its efforts to further the connect with the local youth and to promote a healthy and a positive environment, Gund Army Camp of Wusan Battalion organised an Inter Village volleyball tournament for the local boys of the Gund block.

A total of 9 teams from all the villages in the Gund block participated in the tournament.

The final match of the tournamend was played between the teams of Sumbal and Sonamarg village. The team from Sonamarg village won the championship.
On the occasion Commandant of Wussan Battalion and DSP Kangan were present to felicitate and motivate the youth.

The locals appreciated the initiative and participated in the tournament with full Josh and vigour.
