Srinagar , Oct 17: Senior Bhartiya janta party Leader Ruheena Shahzad on Tuesday demanded that the farmers whose fruit crops were destroyed due to the hailstorm that lashed many districts of Kashmir valley on Monday be provided compensation by the LG administration for the losses they have suffered.

In a press statement, Ruheena urged that District admistration should send immediately the Team of officials to take a stock of the situation.

While advocating relief for farmers of Kashmir valley, Ruheena while demanding an on spot assessment of the losses “The extent of damage to the orchards here can be gauged from the fact that heavy pellets of hail lashed the crops for long time due to which the apple and other orchards have been rendered devastated.
