CDS Lays Wreath at National War Memorial on 77th Infantry Day

Srinagar 27 Oct (CNI): The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) Lt. General Anil Chauhan and other senior officers on Friday laid wreaths at the National War Memorial in New Delhi on the 77th Infantry Day.

As per the news agency CNI, the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG PI) – Indian Army said the CDS, the Vice of Chief of the Army Staff, DG Infantry, Colonels of the regiments and veterans laid wreaths at National War Memorial to honour the sacrifices of the personnel who laid their lives in the line of duty.

“On the occasion of 77th #InfantryDay, General Anil Chauhan #CDS, along with #VCOAS, DG Infantry, Colonels of the Regiments and Veterans laid wreaths at National War Memorial #NWM to pay homage to the #Bravehearts who laid down their lives for the Nation,” posted the ADG-PI on X.

On the occasion, the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh extended his warm greetings to all Indian Army personnel
