Srinagar, Nov 1(CNI):- Husband-wife duo from Srinagar were injured in a road accident in Sinthan top area of Kokernag in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

An official told News Agency the Current News of India that an accident took place at Sinthan Top when one Alto Car bearing registration number Jk01AT 5249 coming from kishtwar towards kokernag skidded down in to a deep gorge.

In the incidents driver Muneer Ahmad Malik S/o Hafeezullah Malik along with his wife namely Dr.Aasiya Tabasum both residents of Ranbeelgad Shalteng Srinagar received injuries

They were evacuated and brought to SDH kokernag for treatment where condition is said to be stable

Meanwhile police have taken cognizance and started investigation.(CNI)
