Budgam : Budgam Police along with security forces apprehended three Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and recovered 01 hand grenade, 13 AK rounds, and 09 LeT posters from them.

Reliable Sources told News Agency Current News of India (CNI) that during a routine checkpoint operation at Pethkoot in Beerwah,Police along with security forces apprehended three Over Ground Workers (OGWs).

They Said that the detained individuals were identified as Mohd Younis Dar, Syed Jahangir Shah, and Irfan Ahmad Wagay, linked to the LeT outfit.

Subsequent searches yielded the recovery of 01 hand grenade, 13 AK rounds, and 09 LeT posters.

In this regard a case, FIR No 145/23, has been filed under 13,18,23,39 UAPA & 7/25 Arms Act, with an ongoing investigation into the matter.(CNI) Current News of India
