Katra : A pilgrim was killed while three others were injured in a road mishap in Katra Reasi district on Friday morning.

An official told News Agency Current News of India (CNI) that a vehicle carrying pilgrims was on its way to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine when a driver lost control over the wheels and the vehicle skidded off the road near Katra.

In the mishap, four pilgrims were injured and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where one succumbed to his injuries while two others were undergoing treatment.

The officer said all are Delhi residents.
