Srinagar : The Association of Terror Victims in Kashmir (ATVK), from Jammu and Kashmir dedicated to representing terror victims, reaffirms its commitment to fighting for the rights, dignity, and justice of victims affected by terrorism in the region. Over the years, ATVK has raised its voice on international platforms, including the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), bringing global attention to the plight of terror victims.
ATVK has conducted comprehensive surveys across Kashmir, documenting the harsh realities and struggles faced by families of terror victims. These efforts have helped highlight their stories at both national and international levels, emphasizing the urgent need for justice, rehabilitation, education, and peace. The organization firmly opposes terrorism in all forms and has actively exposed the role of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and its devastating impact on innocent civilians, families, and communities in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Our terror victims are the real heroes of our nation,” said Tasleema Akhter, Chairperson of ATVK. “By blood and heart, they have stood for Indian democracy and the spirit of nation-building. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and ATVK will continue to be their unwavering voice at every platform.”
ATVK expresses deep gratitude to the Government of India, the Indian Constitution, democratic institutions, and Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha Ji for recognizing the contributions and struggles of terror victims. The organization remains steadfast in its mission to seek justice, uphold human rights, and promote peace and nonviolence in Jammu and Kashmir. CNI
