Jammu, Sep 26, (CNI): Jammu-based organization ‘State Missionhood’ Tuesday claimed that BJP won’t conduct Urban Local Bodies and Panchayat elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party president Sunil Dimple told reporters in Jammu that the decision to postpone the local body elections was taken in a BJP meeting in New Delhi in which BJP leaders from Jammu and Kashmir were present. He said the BJP knows it well that their report card is zero and to save itself from embarrassment it has decided to run away from elections.
Sunil Dimple said that the BJP proved a nuisance rather than an asset for the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially for those who voted for the candidates of this party. “It brought only miseries. It imposed property tax, installed smart meters, and is extracting money from people in the name of toll tax,” he said.
Sunil Dimple said that on the one hand, BJP avoids elections saying that the situation is not normal in Jammu and Kashmir and on the other, it has misled the Supreme Court of India where it said that everything is on the right track. (CNI)
