Uri, Baramulla- CNI :-Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to public welfare, the Chinar Corps of the Indian Army organized a comprehensive medical camp on 26 May 2025 in Uri, Baramulla, to provide much-needed support to civilians impacted by recent ceasefire violations.
Over 500 residents from nearby villages—including Nambla A, Nambla B, Nambla C, Sahora, Hathlanga, Silikot, Gharkote, Balkote, Macchikrand, Bandi, Lagama, Rajarwani, and Paran Pilan—benefited from free medical consultations and treatments. The camp was staffed by a dedicated team comprising a Medical Officer and a Psychologist who offered physical health care, mental health support, and awareness sessions on hygiene and preventive care.
Local residents warmly welcomed the initiative, expressing gratitude for the relief and attention provided amidst challenging circumstances.
This effort underscores the Indian Army’s ongoing commitment to not only securing the region but also to improving the quality of life for the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
