Jammu : Today civil society members congratulated and felicitated Engineer Mohammad Rafiq Chisti for his appointment as Administrator of Wakf, district Poonch. In an impressive program organized by the Allah Peer Welfare Committee in old city Poonch, the prominent civil society members including Dr Shazad Ahmed Malik Chairman of J & K Border Area Development Conference(JKBADC), Shah Mohd Tantray, former MLA Poonch, Altaf Shah, retired SSP, Choudary Sikandar Hayat( Ex-DSO), Captain(R) Nar Singh and others felicitated Rafiq Chisti.

While speaking on the occasion all the civil society members appreciated Mohd Rafiq Chisti for the social works rendered by him for the poor and vulnerable section of Poonch district. They also thanked the Jammu and Kashmir government led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Dr Darakhshan Andrabi Chairperson of the J & K Wakf Board for appointing the most suitable person as wakf administrator for district Poonch.

In his speech, Rafiq Chisti assured the people that he would continue his pursuit of social service and would not leave any stone unturned to ensure that religious shrines under the control of wakf are provided all the required infrastructure and facilities for the devotees. He also promised that transparency and accountability in working would remain benchmark and epilogue of his duty and performance.
