Srinagar, (cni): Chief Minister has expressed grief over the loss of four lives and multiple injuries caused by landslides in Kathua district, assuring all necessary assistance to the affected families.

In a post on X Office of J&K CM as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC wrote, Chief Minister has expressed grief over the tragic loss of lives and damage caused by landslides in several parts of District Kathua, including Jodh Khad and Juthana, which claimed 4 lives and left many injured.

He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured, and assured all necessary assistance, it reads.

Chief Minister has directed the administration to carry out immediate relief, rescue and evacuation measures to ensure the safety and support of affected families, reads the post.

Earlier, a Cloudburst struck three different location in Kathua claiming four lives while injuring several others. (Cni)
