Srinagar : Mohammad Altaf Dar, General Secretary (Org) and Publicity Chief of the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF), has expressed strong disapproval of the recent decision to fix close days for businesses in Srinagar city.
He highlighted the severe economic setbacks faced by the business community due to the 2014 floods, 2016 unrest, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Dar emphasized that such measures exacerbate the financial strain on traders and manufacturers, who are already grappling with the repercussions of these past crises.
He urged authorities to reconsider this decision to support the recovery and sustainability of the local business sector
