Congress incharge for Jharkhand, Ghulam Ahmad Mir says, “…Normally, it has never happened anywhere that a sitting CM is handing himself over to the law and giving an alternate so that the state does not suffer. The entire coalition – 49 MLAs – unanimously accepted the second CM…Had the Governor taken a decision soon, this situation would not have come…Had the Floor Test been done, this situation would not have come, but it was scheduled for 5-6 February. So, in view of the conspiracy hatched against Jharkhand and its people, it was decided that our MLAs would be at a protected place unless the Floor Test happens on 5th February. They will be free after they come and participate in the Floor Test on 5th February.”
