As per the news agency CNI, Court of Judicial Magistrate Uri Fozia Paul denied the bail to the accused Ishfaq Ahmad Pathan, a resident of Nalusah Mohara Tehsil Boniyar for harassing, threatening and uploading videos of a girl (name withheld) on social media.

It was learnt that Ld. APP Shahzad Ahmad Yatoo while opposing the bail said that the accused is involved in non-bailable offences, which are heinous in nature and as such cannot claim bail as a matter of right.

“The accused has committed an offence against the society. So the application may be rejected,” Yatoo said.

Court while rejecting the bail application said that the offences committed by the accused are heinous in nature and are against the dignity of a female, which needs attention of this court.

“The accused does not deserve bail at this stage as there is every apprehension of repetition of the offences,” it added. (CNI) Current News of India
