Srinagar : A court has sentenced a man to two years imprisonment and directed him to pay one and half of the amount of bounced cheques amounting to Rs 8250000.

Reports Reaching to the News Agency CNI that the complainant has been able to prove the commission of offence under section138 the accused Hilal Ahmad Khan Resident of Hussani Public School, Industry Area H.M.T Srinagar for which the accused is hereby convicted,” said a judgment passed by Third Additional Munsiff, Moneer Ahmad.

As per reports by commission of the offence the accused person has dragged the complainant to litigation which is pending for the last more than seven years,” court said.CNI
